More than 500 contaminated sites have been treated by him in 26 states in the United States, and the three concepts of "Earth Doctor", "Environmental Hospital" and "Environmental Protection Toolbox" have been proposed by him. MrDSC (Mass Removal and Dynamic Source Characterization), a method for finding the main sources of groundwater and soil contaminants, was created by him in groundwater treatment and soil remediation projects, and it has been successfully applied in many U.S. Air Force bases and army bases.

During the treatment of abandoned mines in Xinqiu District, Fuxin City, Liaoning, Jin created a new model of environmental treatment and ecological restoration of implanted industries to realize the double reuse of abandoned industrial land and mining waste, truly achieving ecological industrialization. The project has become a major project in Liaoning Province, and is referred to as a project for demonstration for revitalizing the Northeast by Zhang Guoqing, Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Tang Yijun, the former provincial governor.

Jin has published 16 academic articles and reports in Chinese and foreign journals and reported in the former Kelly Air Force Base, the former Carswell and Brooks Air Force Base, Lackland, Randolph, Kirtland, Scott Air Force Base, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Huachuca Army Base, and the Pantex base of the Ministry of Energy and the Xinqiu District Government of Fuxin City.

Jin took the lead in establishing the San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio Chinese Professional Association, San Antonio Chinese Art Performance Troupe and other non-governmental organizations, which play a role as a bridge for cultural and commercial exchanges between China and the United States.
